What is the Junior Pioneers Program?
STEM INTERVENTION MUST HAPPEN BEFORE ITS TOO LATE, NOT WHEN ITS CONVENIENT

Technical workshops  grade 8 and 9 learners from rural communities, that aim to develop STEM capabilities through computer familiarization, coding and robotics skills.

The goal of this program and means by which we measure impact is by increasing the number of rural learners who pursue pure math’s and science in grade 10.

Students are evaluated on their ability to process the content, collaborate within their learning teams, and compete by producing project.

WHAT IS NXT

NOW THAT WE GOT THEM TAKING STEM..,ITS TIME TO TAKE THEM TO UNIVERSITY

NXT continues the journey of tech from gr 10 – 12 by introducing new concepts such as:

  • Systems technologies
  • Internet technologies
  • Network technologies
  • Information management
  • Social Implications

Through competitive hackathons as well as academic monitoring and evaluation,  we also ensure that rural students have access to partner company bursaries and any other additional corporate support.

KHULA NATHI

"Grow with us"

Digital inclusion is not exclusive to the youth of rural communities alone. We know that to achieve our dream of digital parity, multiple rural stakeholders must be engaged.

Our Khula Nathi Program is ad-hoc training is aimed at bringing short-term digital training programs for communities members of industry, such as small-scale farmers, teachers, and small business owners, helping them to harness technology tools to develop their industry.

What Is The Untapped Program?

A Program is only truly impactful if it is adopted by the community as its own.

Social coding is passionate about actively identifying unemployed youth in each rural community and giving them the training needed to become coding cell facilitators. We recruit and train former alumni of our adopted schools and equip them with the skills necessary to host the Junior Pioneer Programs in the very same community the come from.
